<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a contrast improving sheet and an apparatus for manufacturing the contrast improving sheet that are capable of reducing streak defects and filling unevenness. <P>SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a contrast improving sheet which has a light-transmitting part 2 including a surface 2b on which a plurality of grooves are formed in parallel, and a light-absorbing part formed in the grooves of the light-transmitting part 2, comprises: a filling step for continuously supplying the surface 2b of the light-transmitting part 2 with an ink composition 3 while moving the sheet-like light-transmitting part 2, forming an ink pool 3a made up of the ink composition 3 on an upstream side of and adjacently to a scratching-off blade disposed on a downstream side beyond a supplying position of the ink composition 3, and filling the grooves with the ink composition 3 by scratching-off the ink composition 3 on the surface 2b of the light-transmitting part 2 with the scratching-off blade. In the filling step, one portion of the ink pool 3a is suctioned to collect the ink composition 3 via a plurality of suction pipes 61 arranged at prescribed intervals, and the collected ink composition 3 is re-supplied to the surface 2b of the light-transmitting part 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
