<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the heat radiation performance of a stator of a canned motor pump. <P>SOLUTION: A stator 26 of a motor is housed in a stator chamber 52 that is a space between a cylindrical stator can 38 housing a rotor 24 of the motor and a cylindrical stator band 44 coaxially arranged with the stator can 38. The stator chamber 52 is closed by annular end part plates 46, 48 at cylinder ends of the stator can 38 and the stator band 44. The stator chamber 52 is filled with a filler 66.
