OPTICAL FIBER TERMINAL, OPTICAL FIBER CABLE WITH TERMINAL, OPTICAL CONNECTOR, AND OPTICAL FIBER CABLE WITH CONNECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber terminal, an optical fiber cable with the terminal, an optical connector, and an optical fiber cable with the connector, that are capable of realizing an optical connector which is resistant to vibration and shock.

SOLUTION: An optical fiber terminal is attached to a tip of an optical fiber cable which includes: an optical fiber element wire that is an optical fiber coated with element wire coating; a tensile strength body disposed along a longitudinal direction of the optical fiber element wire; and a coating part for coating the optical fiber element wire and the tensile strength body. The optical fiber terminal includes: a cylindrical body into which the optical fiber element wire is inserted and around which the tensile strength body is mounted on an outer periphery; and a tensile strength body fixing member for fixing the tensile strength body to the cylindrical body. The tensile strength body fixing member includes a first caulking part which is fitted to the cylindrical body and caulks the cylindrical body together with the tensile strength body mounted on the cylindrical body; and a second caulking part into which the coating part of the optical fiber cable is inserted and which caulks the coating part; and a slit formed throughout from the first caulking part to the second caulking part.
