<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which prevents reusable displaced soil from being dumped to cause economic loss with increased environmental load, while conventionally the displaced soil is simply classified into sand-rich soil and other soil through visual determination so as to dump the soil other than sand, due to difficulty in classification into grain size fractions for recycling the displaced soil having a large variation in grain size at a construction site. <P>SOLUTION: A method comprises the steps of: casting displaced soil and water into a container; agitating the container so as to wash and separate the sand fraction in sludge; leaving the container at rest for measuring the volume of sedimentation sand fraction; calculating the mass of coarse-grained soil from clearance ratio; and calculating the rate of fine-grained fraction in the displaced soil. The rate of fine-grained fraction is calculated within a predetermined margin of error in approximately 5 minutes. Consequently, raw material soil for earthwork material can be manufactured through the classification and grain size control for the displaced soil from a yard. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
