<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a highly reliable solid electrolytic capacitor in which sufficient heat resistance and moisture resistance can be ensured even after it is exposed to high temperature and high humidity for a long time. <P>SOLUTION: The solid electrolytic capacitor has porous materials 6a-6d consisting of a valve action metal such as Al, dielectric layers 7a-7d consisting of an oxide film formed on the surface of the porous materials 6a-6d, and solid electrolyte layers 8a-8d formed on the surface of the dielectric layers 7a-7d. A cathode region 4 and an anode region 5 are sectioned by insulation layers 3a-3d of polyimide, or the like. The solid electrolyte layers 8a-8d consist of a chemical polymerization film containing a conductive polymer as a main component, and are formed by a chemical polymerization method.
