<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall joint device in which, even if left and right buildings are swung in different longitudinal directions by an earthquake, one joint cover and the other joint cover are back to an original state when the swing stops, and which can be easily mounted. <P>SOLUTION: A wall joint device 1 includes: one joint cover 5 with a rear back face part pivoted to one wall surface on a joint part 2 side of right and left buildings 3; one stopper 6 preventing the one joint cover from rotating farther than 90 degrees; the other joint cover 9 with the rear back face part pivoted to the other wall surface on the joint part side; a stopper 10 preventing the other joint cover from rotating farther than 90 degrees; an energizing mechanism for the other joint cover 13 energizing the other joint cover to be always prevented by the other stopper; and a positioning energizing mechanism 16 one end of which is attached closer to a tip of the one joint cover and the other end of which contacts on a part closer to the tip of the other joint cover to be attached to the other wall surface so as to be energized to be always wound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
