<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable capable of achieving protection measures against biting by animals and improving workability during cable installation. <P>SOLUTION: In a cable that comprises a main cable with an outer cover formed on the outer periphery of the cable core, and a dummy cable arranged adjacent to the main cable, the external diameter of the dummy cable is made thinner than the external diameter of the main cable. As a result, measures against biting by animals are achieved, and workability or the like during cable installation can be improved.
