<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process of increasing the dispersion efficiency of a pigment in a nonaqueous ink. <P>SOLUTION: The process for producing a nonaqueous ink includes: step [1] of mixing a pigment, a pigment dispersant resin, and an organic solvent to prepare a pigment dispersion, wherein the organic solvent is used in an amount of 40-80 mass% of the pigment dispersion and 65 mass% or more of the organic solvent is at least one polar solvent selected from the group consisting of (A) an ester of an 8-24C fatty acid and a 1-12C alcohol and (B) an 8-24C alcohol; and step [2] of compounding an additional organic solvent with the pigment dispersion obtained in the step [1]. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
