<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine that is reduced in vibration transmission to a floor under a washing machine body. <P>SOLUTION: A washing machine includes a base frame 25 formed by resin molding; a support portion 24 provided at the bottom of the base frame 25 and having an anti-vibration function; a side plate 6 formed of a metal plate member and disposed on the base frame 25. The base frame 25 has a protrusion 25b that is not in contact with the side plate 6, and the support portion 24 is provided at the protrusion 25b. This allows the base frame to have both of strength and a damping effect, thereby allowing reduction in vibration transmission to a floor under a washing machine body, so that vibration and noise can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
