<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a red pigment dispersion liquid for a color filter and a method for producing the dispersion liquid, the liquid showing excellent dispersibility and dispersion stability, particularly achieving high luminance and satisfying demands for obtaining high contrast, and to provide a photosensitive resin composition for a color filter and a method for producing the composition, the composition having excellent dispersibility and dispersion stability, particularly achieving high luminance, allowing formation of a color layer with high contrast, and having excellent alkali developability. <P>SOLUTION: The red pigment dispersion liquid for a color filter includes a red pigment having an anthraquinone skeleton, a sulfonated derivative as a yellow pigment, a pigment dispersant consisting of a block copolymer containing a tertiary amine salt, and a solvent.
