<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water absorbent foamed tray excellent in water absorbing properties. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the water absorbent foamed tray which is made of a resin foamed sheet having an open-cell layer, and in which a storage recessed part storing an article to be stored has a bottom part and a peripheral sidewall part raised from an outer edge of the bottom part, and water absorbing holes which are open in the inner surface of the bottom part and reach the open-cell layer are formed in the bottom part. A thick region which is thicker than a center part of the bottom part is formed along the outer edge of the bottom part, and the plurality of water absorbing holes are formed along the outer edge of the bottom part having the thick region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
