摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exothermic module, a method for manufacturing the exothermic module, and a thermal diffusion member, in which thermal stress can be reduced while improving heat dissipation properties. <P>SOLUTION: An exothermic module 10 is integrally provided with a cooler 11, a thermal diffusion member 12 disposed on the cooler 11 and including at least one layer of a thermal diffusion plate 30 formed using a carbon-based material, and an exothermic body 13 disposed on one surface 12a opposite to the cooler 11 of the thermal diffusion member 12. Then, in the thermal diffusion plate 30, the thermal conductivity in a plate thickness direction 1a perpendicular to the one surface 12a and a first direction 1b along the one surface 12a is higher than that in a second direction 1c perpendicular to the plate thickness direction 1a and the first direction 1b.
