<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous bay window capable of dissolving troublesomeness due to a side surface wall of a bay window and improving spaciousness and habitability on the basis of an idea to positively widen a space in an office building, a hotel or a multiple dwelling house or the like. <P>SOLUTION: For a continuous bay window 1, a bay window provided at a height equal to or higher than 300 mm from a floor surface and a depth less than 500 mm from an outer wall surface is continuously constructed over the entire periphery or almost entire periphery of the outer wall surface of a building. Differently from a conventional partial bay window, the space is substantially widened, and the spaciousness and the habitability are improved. Also, an area that can be lighted is extremely increased, natural light from the outside is easily taken in, and attention is paid to environments. Since the bay window is continued in a transverse direction, large recesses and projections are not generated on the outer wall surface of the building for the transverse direction, and construction and maintenance are facilitated.
