<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce porosity without increasing a facility load. <P>SOLUTION: A partial rolling reduction roll stand 7 is disposed having partial rolling reduction rolls 42-44 in a second section in which a meniscus distance M2 [m] is 0.0013 Vc (D/2)<SP POS="POST">2</SP>≤M2≤0.0016 Vc (D/2)<SP POS="POST">2</SP>, and subjecting two to four locations in the width direction of a cast slab 10 to rolling reduction. The partial rolling reduction rolls 42-44 are disposed at positions not in contact with the cast slab 10 and casting is started. At a point when a portion passing the meniscus position at a casting speed Vct which is 0.7 times or more and 0.95 times or less of a normal casting speed V is conveyed to a position of the uppermost stream of the partial rolling reduction roll stand 7, the partial rolling reduction rolls 42-44 are brought in close contact with the cast slab 10, and partial rolling reduction of the cast slab 10 is started. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
