<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an occurrence of vibration of a transfer belt caused by rubbing with an image carrier and capable of accurately transferring a toner image on paper conveyed to a transfer position via the transfer belt. <P>SOLUTION: A secondary transfer unit 3 stretches a transfer belt 31 in an endless form over a driving roller 32, a driven roller 33, a transfer roller 34, an auxiliary roller 35, and a support roller 36 therebetween. The transfer belt 31 moves, by rotation of the driving roller 32, along a circulation path which passes through a transfer position N. The transfer roller 34 and the auxiliary roller 35 press the transfer belt 31, at the transfer position N, from the inner peripheral surface of the transfer belt 31 toward an intermediate transfer belt 22. The transfer belt 31 has an outer peripheral surface which comes into pressure contact with the intermediate transfer belt 22 and is roughened to the surface roughness of Rz=6 μm to 10 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
