<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding device capable of controlling any double feed of paper sheets or generation of rubbing noise caused by the fluctuation of the paper feed position, and capable of executing the consistent paper feeding operation, and to provide an image forming apparatus with the same. <P>SOLUTION: An offset cam 40 is constituted of a first cam part 40a located on the outer side in the axial direction of a shaft 35, and a second cam part 40b which is located on the inner side in the axial direction of the shaft 35, and has the different rate of change of the offset radius per unit rotational angle from that of the first cam part 40a. A cam follower 41 includes a first contact part 41a with the first cam part 40a being brought into contact therewith, and a second contact part 41b which is adjacent to the inner side of the first contact part 41a with the second cam part 40b being brought into contact therewith. When a lift plate 30 is elevated, new abutting points are formed in a large diameter part of the second cam part 40b and a second contact part 41b, and abutting points of the first cam part 40a and the first contact part 41a are separated from each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
