A method of manufacturing molds according to one-time patterns includes filling a pattern with a loose sand, creating pressure on the sand, which increases the internal friction of loose sand up to keeping it intact, feeding through a hole in the sand of at least one of the parts of pattern, forming a vent or a downright, of a liquid sealing coating to the surface of the mold cavity after filling the pattern with sand and partial removal of the coating into the surface layer of sand, conversion of the pattern into liquid state and removal of its liquid products. In the method liquid sealing coating is fed to the surface of pattern prior or simultaneously with the pressure on the molding sand while keeping the mold cavity filled with liquid during the period of time prior to the moment of conversion of the pattern into liquid state and stopping soaking liquid by the sand surface or formation of a shell in the surface layer around the mold cavity. |
