<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical position detection device capable of limiting a detection range in one direction and setting a detection range widely in an in-plane direction crossing the one direction, a light receiving unit and a display system with input function provided with the optical position detection device. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical position detection device, a light receiving part 13 receives detection light L2 which is detection light emitted radially along an XY plane and reflected at a target object Ob located in detection object space 10R. The light receiving part 13 includes a light receiving element 130 and a concave mirror 14. A reflection surface 141 of the concave mirror 14 has an arc-shaped first cross section (XY cross section) and a quadratic curved second cross section (YZ cross section) orthogonal to the first cross section. Therefore, in the XY in-plane direction, even light incident from the direction obliquely to the light receiving part 13 is reflected at the concave mirror 14 and reaches the light receiving element 130 but in the YZ in-plane direction, an area where the light reaches the light receiving element 130 is limited by the concave mirror 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
