<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear vehicle body structure capable of efficiently enhancing torsional rigidity of a vehicle body of an automobile and efficiently enhancing vehicle body lightness in weight by thinness using a high tensile strength steel plate. <P>SOLUTION: The rear vehicle body structure 10 includes: a floor panel 15; a rear wheel houses 20 formed on the right and left sides of the floor panel 15 and a rear strut tower 25; seat backside panels 40L and 40R; and a rear pillar 50. The rear vehicle body structure 10 includes: a first reinforcing member 71, when viewed from a vehicle body rear part, disposed between the rear wheel houses 20L and 20R on the floor panel 15, connected to a left side upper part and a right side lower part and extended from the left side upper part to the right side lower part; and a second reinforcing member 75 disposed to mutually cross the first reinforcing member 71, connected to a right side upper part and a left side lower part and extended from the right side upper part to the left side lower part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
