<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame retardant composition with excellent storage stability after mixture with other materials with a red phosphorus having a high flame retardant effect homogeneously dispersed as a flame retardant for a polyurethane, in particular for a polyurethane foam, a flame retardant polyurethane and a flame retardant polyurethane foam produced using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The flame retardant composition includes 3-50 mass% of (A) red phosphorus, and 0.2-15 mass% of (B) an anti-settling agent. The anti-settling agent is selected from carbon black, fine powder silica, hydrogenated castor oil wax, fatty acid amide wax and organic clay.
