<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for forming a pressed Sushi enabling production of a pressed Sushi having good eating quality by entirely and evenly eliminating moisture and air from Sushi materials. <P>SOLUTION: The device for forming a pressed Sushi includes: a pair of upper and lower pressing members which are mounted on respective rack gears, move along with the movement of the respective rack gears and come close to or separate from each other; a molding frame where the Sushi materials including a sheet-like boiled rice are charged in a layered condition; and a pair of upper and lower plate-like members which are engaged with each other to be longitudinally movable along the inner wall of the molding frame and are set up to sandwich the Sushi materials charged into the molding frame from above and below. The device is structured so that the upper pressing member abuts on the upper plate-like member, the lower pressing member abuts on the lower plate-like member respectively and the Sushi materials are compressed from above and below when a pair of the pressing members move to come close to each other along with the drive of a driving means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
