<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromechanical conversion device capable of preventing the light from entering a reception surface with no degradation in mechanism characteristic of a diaphragm. <P>SOLUTION: The electromechanical conversion device includes at least one cell structure 2 in which a diaphragm 7 is supported for free movement, the diaphragm containing one electrode 8 among two electrodes 3 and 8 being provided with a gap 5 in between. In the electromechanical conversion device, a stress relaxing layer 9 whose acoustic impedance matches with the diaphragm 7 is provided on the diaphragm 7, with a light reflecting layer 6 provided on the stress relaxing layer 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
