MOBILE COMMUNICATION METHOD AND MOBILE STATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To immediately suspend "Logged MDT" which is performed by a mobile station UE owned by a user, upon cancellation of his/her approval for the "Logged MDT".

SOLUTION: The mobile communication method comprises: a step in which a mobile station UE measures and stores a prescribed radio quality according to a "Measurement Configuration" after the mobile station UE transitions from a "Connected state" to an "Idle state"; and a step in which the mobile station UE in the "Idle state" removes the stored result of measurement of the prescribed radio quality and the "Measurement Configuration" and suspends measurement of the prescribed radio quality if approval for performing MDT is cancelled.
