<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control unit for a vehicle, capable of suppressing, at a lower level, power consumption after a main power source of the vehicle is shut off by shifting to a low power consumption mode and a normal power consumption mode in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: The control unit 1 of a vehicle includes: a mode transmission line 24 for electrically connecting a first CPU 2 and a second CPU 3; a power source shut-off detection means 16 capable of detecting that an IG power source (main power source) 14 of the vehicle is shut off; a first mode switching means 21 for switching a power consumption mode of the first CPU 2 to the low power consumption mode or the normal power consumption mode corresponding to the shut-off state of the IG power source 14 detected by the power source shut-off detection means 16; and a second mode switching means 25 for switching the power consumption mode of the second CPU 3 to the low power consumption mode or the normal power consumption mode corresponding to the value of a potential output from the first CPU 2 to the mode transmission line 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
