<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable appropriate confirmation of operational states of a wide variety of electric devices. <P>SOLUTION: In a devices control system including a smart gateway 200 and an HP hot water supplier 320 that executes an operation to be indicated by the smart gateway 200, the HP hot water supplier 320 manages plural operational states of the HP hot water supplier 320, and after the smart gateway 200 instructs an operation to the HP hot water supplier 320, the smart gateway 200 inquires about operational states of the HP hot water supplier at it, and the HP hot water supplier 320 notifies all operational states managed by itself in response to the inquiry by the smart gateway 200.
