<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet device which can achieve coating without mist generation to ensure quality improvement and stable discharge in a nozzle coating process. <P>SOLUTION: When previously discharging ink droplets 11e discharged from a nozzle 11d to a substrate before coating, this ink-jet device can discharge the droplets to a lumber of its surface treated with hydrophilic membrane to achieve stable coating without mist generation.
