<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent cutting of a foodstuff corner during cutting regarding a cutting machine for cutting foodstuffs such as vegetables or fruits. <P>SOLUTION: The cutting machine 10 includes: a cutting board 12 having a mounting surface 11 on which a foodstuff to be cut is mounted; a kitchen knife 14 having a blade 13 opposite to the mounting surface 11; a stopper 20 having a pressing surface 19 on which a foodstuff XA1 is pressed to be positioned; a rotary shaft 15 for rotating the kitchen knife 14; and the like. The kitchen knife 14 moves between: a separate position where the blade 13 is separated from the mounting surface 11; and a cutting position where the blade 13 is in contact with the mounting surface 11. The stopper 20 moves between: a pressable position where the pressing surface 19 is located at the position higher than that of the mounting surface 11 and foodstuff XA1 is pressed; and a retreating position where the pressing surface 19 is located at the position lower than that of the mounting surface 11 to be retreated from the mounting surface 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
