METHOD FOR CONTROL OF BLAST-FURNACE SMELTING

The invention relates to ferrous metallurgy. A method for control of blast-furnace smelting comprises the blowing of air-oxygen mix into air pipe of blast furnace, at that superheated steam is supplied into air pipe simultaneously with air-oxygen mix. For this water together with air-oxygen mix is supplied in stoves where mix is heated to temperature 800-1000 ºC and directed onto hot coke or other solid fuel through lances of blast furnace, at that blowing of air-oxygen mix is progressively decreased to 20 % by replacing its superheated steam. The cheap method is developed guaranteeing high heat of solid fuel combustion and decreases in atmosphere.
