PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cutting a laser transmission member which is capable of cutting even materials which cannot be usually cut by a laser and has excellent mass productivity, and to provide a cutting device and an electrode manufacturing method.

SOLUTION: A method for cutting a laser transmission member provided in a laser cuttable member includes an irradiation step #101 of irradiating the laser cuttable member in a region in which the laser transmission member is provided with a laser and a cutting step #102 of separating two regions extending across a trajectory irradiated with the laser by the irradiation step #101 in applying a force to the regions.
