PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that measurement using a conventional near-point optometer requires time and effort, the check of a blur occurrence point at which a target becomes indistinct to the eye is influenced by the subjectivity of a person being tested, which is because there is no reference for comparison of a target difficult to determine or the degree of blur and, moreover, the display of a measurement result is too technical and difficult to understand.
SOLUTION: Using a near-point optometer in which a 1/2 of measurement distance has been set with a mirror, two identical targets, which make it easy to determine blur, are superposed one on the other in a straight line with a 3-centimeter distance between them. This enables the point at which blur of a measurement target near an eye being tested occurs to be checked by comparing this point with a target farther than the eye being tested. Displaying the measurement result in age makes it possible not only to check the development of presbyopia but also to use for health care by recognizing a change such as eyestrain.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
