摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of manufacturing electrode catalysts for fuel cells having high catalytic activity which uses titanium or the like through heat treatment at a relatively low temperature, and also manufacturing an electrolyte membrane-catalyst layer assembly (MEA) having a catalyst layer of a uniform and homogeneous porous shape at a low cost using the electrode catalysts for fuel cells. <P>SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a MEA for solid polymer fuel cells having a catalyst layer on both surfaces of an electrolyte membrane comprises: (A) a catalyst manufacturing step including a step of obtaining a catalyst precursor solution containing titanium or the like, a step of removing a solvent, and a step of obtaining an electrode catalyst for fuel cells by heat-treating a solid residue; (B) an application step of applying a coating fluid for catalyst layer formation containing the electrode catalyst or the like to a surface of a transfer film; (C) a drying step of drying the applied coating fluid for catalyst layer formation to form a catalyst layer of a porous shape; (D) a transfer step of transferring the catalyst layer on the transfer film to a surface of the electrolyte membrane; and (E) a peeling step of peeling the transfer film from the catalyst layer transferred to the surface of the electrolyte membrane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
