<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bird pest control device not applying side wind load to an electric wire. <P>SOLUTION: In this bird pest control device 1, the respective bird pest control members 3 are hooked on long members 5 disposed on the right and left thereof and disposed at predetermined spaces on an overhead conductor. These long members 5 are formed to be located within a projection plane of projecting the overhead conductor in the same direction as viewed in a projection plane of projecting in the arranging direction, that is, a projection plane in the direction coinciding with the side wind to the overhead conductor. Therefore, this bird control device 1 is not increased in swept area to the side wind, even if being fitted to the overhead conductor, so that the load on the electric wire is minimized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
