<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heater device which prevents air from stagnating inside even when a heater body where a heating medium flows is attached obliquely. <P>SOLUTION: The heater device has a travel path having a tilt angle θ to a horizontal plane to dry a long base material 1 traveling along the travel path. In the heater device, a plurality of heater parts 42 are arranged along the travel path.
