<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail for care which enables a user to go up and down while looking forward, can be used as both side handrails or a one-side handrail, and has a holding portion allowing smooth movement. <P>SOLUTION: A handrail for care comprises a base, supporting pole portions, and a handrail portion. The supporting pole portions are erected on both sides of the base. The handrail portion is provided on the tops of the supporting pole portions. The base is made attachable to and detachable from the supporting pole portions and the handrail portion, whereby the handrail can be used as both side handrails or a one-side handrail. Height can be vertically adjusted between a handrail stay and a supporting pole and/or between the supporting pole and a stay. Meanwhile, a fastener capable of holding a stepping rail and an attachable/detachable and expandable/contractible tension rod are mounted on the base as movement prevention means, thereby fixing the handrail and inhibiting movement of the handrail. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
