摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planetary shaft stop revolution phase position control device, preventing rotation resistance and wear of a planetary differential screw type rotation-linear motion converting mechanism, in start of an internal combustion engine. <P>SOLUTION: A nut rotation amount of the planetary differential screw type rotation-linear motion converting mechanism is adjusted so that a maximum clearance between planetary shafts is the lowest position in stop of the internal combustion engine (in S126, S128). Therefore, the planetary shafts are not brought into contact with lubricating oil. Since rotation/revolution of the planetary shafts are started under a condition where they are not in contact with the lubricating oil in the start of the internal combustion engine, the rotation resistance of the planetary differential screw type rotation-linear motion converting mechanism is minimum in cold start to facilitate the start of the internal combustion engine. Since the planetary shafts get into the lubricating oil sequentially when the revolution of the planetary shafts is started, the lubricating oil is applied to all of the planetary shafts even if an amount of lubricating oil at the beginning of the drive is small and the planetary shafts are off from the lubricating oil just before the start.
