摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant residue control device capable of allowing a proper amount of lubricant to remain in a nut of a planetary differential screw type rotation reciprocation conversion mechanism during the period when an internal combustion engine is suspended. <P>SOLUTION: The rotation amount of a nut is controlled to be a bottom part rotation amount R&theta; where a set of two planetary shafts come to be a bottom part by an internal combustion engine being suspended (S126 and S128), to maximize an immersive volume of the planetary shaft into the lubricant that remains deviated in the phase on lower side in the nut. Consequently, the amount of lubricant in the nut becomes minimum under the condition where the internal combustion engine is suspended. Since the rotation and pivoting of the planetary shaft are started under the condition of minimum lubricant at the start of the internal combustion engine, a rotational resistance at the time of cold start becomes minimum for easy starting of the internal combustion engine. Further, since a wetting surface area generated by the lubricant can be maximized for the set of two planetary shafts, the rotational resistance and wearing of the planetary differential screw type rotation reciprocation conversion mechanism are properly prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
