<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semi-transmissive/semi-reflective array substrate and a semi-transmissive/semi-reflective liquid crystal display. <P>SOLUTION: The array substrate includes a plurality of pixel units. Each pixel unit includes: a reflecting electrode and a transmissive electrode provided on a base substrate; an opaque gate line provided on the base substrate, blocking the transmission of light from the base substrate to an interval between the reflecting electrode and the transmissive electrode, and provided between the reflecting electrode and the transmissive electrode at the lower part of the reflecting electrode and the transmissive electrode; and a thin-film transistor in which a gate electrode is electrically connected to the gate line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
