<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize double copy, by which two identical images oriented 180 degrees apart are printed on a sheet of paper, with less memory consumption without lowering print processing speed. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: memory means for storing tile image data, a first tile image management table and a second tile image management table; control means for creating the second tile image management table on the basis of the first tile image management table; and image processing means for performing image processing on the tile image data by referring to the second tile image management table. The first tile image management table is composed of data lines containing addresses and data lengths of individual tiles of the tile image data. The second tile image management table is composed of command lines indicating data lines and image processing settings. The image processing means includes a rotation function of tile images, and performs image processing setting by reading the tile image data by referring to the data lines of the second tile image management table, and by referring to the command lines. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
