摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently encode a main image and a sub image of different parallaxes. <P>SOLUTION: A main imaging unit (101) and a sub imaging unit (112) image the same object. An encoding unit (100) executes motion compensation prediction encoding of main image data from the main imaging unit (101). A parallax detection unit (113) detects the parallax from the main image data of the main imaging unit (101) and sub image data of the sub imaging unit (112). A parallax compensation unit (114) executes parallax compensation of local decode image data of a frame memory (110) according to the detected parallax, and stores parallax compensated image data in a frame memory (115). A motion compensation unit (111) generates predicted image data by motion-compensating the local decode image data for the main image data, and generates predicted image data by motion-compensating one of the local decode image data and the parallax compensated image data according to imaging conditions of the main imaging unit (101) and the sub imaging unit (112) for the sub image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
