<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply device including a holder holding the discharge part of a relief valve in a liquidtight manner and having a connection passage connected to a relief pipe, that can inhibit the occurrence of corrosion resulting from the stay of condensed water in the holder. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel supply device for an internal combustion engine includes an upstream side relief pipe and a downstream side relief pipe 63 for relieving fuel from a high pressure fuel passage, and the motor-driven relief valve 31 provided between the relief pipes. It further includes the downstream side holder 50 holding the discharge part 32 of the relief valve 31 in a liquidtight manner so that the relief valve 31 is mounted in the downstream side relief pipe 63, and having the connection passage 52 connected to the downstream side relief pipe 63. In the connection passage 52, a center C2 of an opening part 52a opening to an inner bottom wall 53 of the downstream side holder 50 is biased from a center axis C1 of the discharge port 32a of the relief valve 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
