PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for measuring the plate shape of a web product are provided to allow a user to directly establish the quality standards of web products by setting various test conditions including tensile strength applied to the web products and a measurement interval. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring the plate shape of a web product comprises a measuring unit, an unwinding unit(20), a winding unit(30) which rolls a web product transferred from the measuring unit, a control unit which is inputted with the measurement results of the measuring unit and controls the operation of the unwinding unit and the winding unit to control the tensile stress of the web product, an input unit which inputs test conditions and control commands to the control unit, and an output unit which outputs the measurement results delivered from the control unit.
