<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique effective in facilitating handling a mask in manufacturing the mask is to be attached to a mask wearer's face. <P>SOLUTION: This mask manufacturing method includes: a first conveyance step in which a mask body 20 easily stretchable in a high-stretch direction perpendicular to a prescribed low-stretch direction is prepared and the mask body 20 is conveyed along the low-stretch direction of the mask body 20; a second conveyance step in which ear hooks 30 easily stretchable in a high-stretch direction perpendicular to a prescribed low-stretch direction are prepared and the ear hooks 30 are conveyed along the low-stretch direction of the ear hooks 30; a bonding step in which the mask body 20 conveyed in the first conveyance step and the ear hooks 30 conveyed in the second conveyance step are bonded to one another; and a relative position changing step in which, before the bonding step, the relative position of the mask body 20 and the ear hooks 30 are changed so that the low-stretch direction of the mask body 20 and the high-stretch direction of the ear hooks 30 substantially coincide. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
