<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool handling device for machine tool, which is configured technically simply and allows a tool exchanger to move a sufficient long distance in a small space. <P>SOLUTION: The tool handling device for machine tool has a tool magazine (5) having a transfer position (7) for transferring a tool, and also has: a double grip part (36) which includes a tool exchanger (33) that can move between the transfer position and an exchange position and which enables the tool exchanger to rotate; and a support structure (20, 31) that can move on a base (10) fitted with the tool exchanger (33). The support structure has an upper slide (31) and a lower slide (20) displaced on the base (10) in the same direction by spindle driving devices to exchange the tool quickly in a narrow space on a machine, and a single driving motor (40) is provided to drive two spindle driving devices. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
