<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control landing call registration by reliably determining whether or not any passenger is present in a landing when a fire occurs. <P>SOLUTION: An operation mode changing unit changes the operation mode of an elevator to an evacuation operation mode based on the fire detection signal. A second call registration informing means informs by a second information mode by a landing call registration button that the landing call registration is being checked, within the predetermined time before the deceleration starting time for the landing on the landing related to the landing call registration in the case of the evacuation operation mode.
