<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle information provision device which can achieve a volume control of a warning sound with a little expense and does not make a driver nervous more than necessary. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle information provision device comprises: a sounding body 32 installed inside a case to store an instrument of a vehicle; a warning display device 2 arranged on an instrument board; and an instrument control device, particularly control means 25, which makes the sounding body 32 generate a sound through an external signal from an outside of the instrument board and activates the warning display device 2. The control means 25 is installed inside the case to store the instrument and controls vehicle state display devices D1 and D2 in accordance with an engine stop signal ESSg indicating a stop of an engine or a vehicle stop signal SSg. The control means 25 also changes a drive signal to be applied to the sounding body 32, while the engine or the vehicle is stopped, and reduces volume of a warning sound of the sounding body 32 through the changed drive signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
