<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an A/D conversion circuit that implements improved linearity of an A/D conversion characteristic without employing a linearity correction circuit. <P>SOLUTION: A V/I conversion circuit 101 converts an analog input voltage Vin to an operating current Iref directly proportional to the analog input voltage Vin. A pulse transit circuit 102 comprises a plurality of connected transconductance circuits supplied with the operating current Iref and having a transit time of an input pulse signal inversely proportional to the analog input voltage Vin. A pulse selector 103 and an encoder 104 detect a transit position of the pulse signal transiting the pulse transit circuit 102 and generate a first logical signal according to the transit position. A signal processing circuit 107 generates a digital signal according to the magnitude of the analog input voltage Vin based on the first logical signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
