PURPOSE: An apparatus for cutting off the entry of animals for a guardrail of a road is provided to prevent animals from entering a road through the space between a guardrail and the surface of the road. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for cutting off the entry of animals for a guardrail of a road comprises a cutoff unit(10) and an opening and closing device. The cutoff unit cuts off the space between a guardrail(7) and the surface of a road to prevent animals from entering the road through the space. The cutoff unit comprises an outer frame(11) and a grid(12). The grid closes the open center of the outer frame. The opening and closing device opens and closes the space between the guardrail and the surface of the road by moving the cutoff unit.
