<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation device which is capable of improving detection accuracy of pressure applied by a user and the like. <P>SOLUTION: An operation device comprises a base, a sensing unit, a plurality of plates and a driving mechanism. The base has a surface. The sensing unit includes three or more pressure-sensitive regions respectively provided on different vertices of a polygon having three or more vertices, the polygon being set as each of a plurality of regions that partition at least a part of the surface of the body. The plurality of plates is respectively arranged on the plurality of regions so that at least a part of the surface is covered.
