<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus which suppresses erroneous detection of an object by reducing false colors even when using a single-plate imaging sensor having a bayer array. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus is provided with: image acquisition means which acquires an image (RAW image) composed of plural pixels each having only monochrome color information from an imaging sensor in which multicolor color filters are provided to pixels in a predetermined array; light spot area detection means which calculates the luminances of all the pixels from the acquired image and detects a light spot area in which the calculated luminance is equal to or larger than a predetermined luminance; and average value calculation means which calculates the average value of the luminances for each same-color pixels within the light spot area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
