<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner that can carry out air-conditioning mainly an area nearby the route of high passerby traffic in an air-conditioned area where a large number of persons are present, for example, in an office. <P>SOLUTION: An air conditioner 10 includes: air direction change means 120 of changing the direction of air blown out of an outlet; a temperature measurement device 20 which is attached to the lower surface of an indoor unit and measures a temperature at an arbitrary place in the air-conditioned area; and a control device 30 which analyzes the temperature in the air-conditioned area measured by the temperature measurement device 20 at predetermined time intervals, and specifies the route of high passerby traffic. The air conditioner 10 changes, based on the analysis result of the control device 30, the direction of the air blow out of the outlet by controlling the air direction change means 120 to mainly air-condition the air-conditioned area nearby the route of high passerby traffic. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
